The 2018 London Design Biennale took place at Somerset House in London, UK.
We are very proud that the two wonderful curators, Elaine Young and Wendy Fok, selected a small series of Fragment(s) | The bottle edition as well as several works made under our brand Latitude 22N to show at the biennale. Here are a few images of the exhibition.

Description
Craft: The Reset is a large-scale exhibition about the reawakening of crafts in contemporary design and society. Following the inaugural exhibition Minding the Digital on the impact of digital innovation, it investigates the widening possibilities of crafts as an equally important creative impulse for China’s future innovation. Through essays and interviews, the publication presents shaping voices on how craft can be a creative impulse inspiring new ways of living and connecting with the world around us.

We are delighted to share that a series of Fragment(s) | The bottle edition will be showing at the HK Pavilion for the 2018 London Design Biennale.
The 2018 London Design Biennale is devoted to the theme, Emotional States. Taking over the entirety of Somerset House, it will explore big questions and ideas about sustainability, migration, pollution, energy, cities, and social equality. Visitors will enjoy engaging and interactive installations, innovations, artworks and proposed design solutions – all in an immersive, inspiring and entertaining tour of the world.

Reinvention
A conversation on reinvention – to celebrate the opening of their pop-store on Queen’s Road, COS held a panel discussion on Friday 9th March with guest speakers Marisa Yiu, Julie & Jesse, Aric Chen, Joyce Wang and Rodrigo Buelvas, based on the concept of ‘reinvention.’

For the last edition of Confluence • 20+ we unveiled our their latest experimental porcelain projects called “Déshabillé” and “Clay Bodies”.
We also created an interactive installation transforming part of the display into a live ceramic studio in which we produced a unique edition of our Fragment(s) project, casting discarded moulds brought directly from the factories of Jingdezhen, China.
The exhibition ran from the 13th of October to the 4th of November 2017 at the Chicago Design Museum. Here are a few images of the show.
